New Stucco Garage in South Minneapolis

The owners of a home in south Minneapolis where we sandblasted and refinished the stucco a couple of years ago wanted to tear down their old garage, and have a new garage built.  They were so pleased with the stucco on their house that one of their requirements when looking for a contractor to build the garage was that they use Foley Exteriors to install the stucco on the new garage! We installed the new stucco on the garage to match the color and texture that we previously applied on the house.  The owners of this south Minneapolis home now have a great new garage that has plenty of storage for all of their needs, and since we installed the stucco, it looks...

Minneapolis’ Kenwood Neighborhood Stucco Project

This amazing stucco home in the Kenwood neighborhood of Minneapolis underwent a complete transformation.  The homeowner gutted the entire home down to the studs.  He replaced every window and door, so there was some extensive stucco repair around all of the newly installed windows and doors.  The homeowner used the highest quality materials, and wanted to use the best quality stucco contractor…so he called Foley Exteriors! The original stucco had been painted, so we also needed to sandblast the stucco on the original home.  The homeowner also added a large addition to the rear of the house, in order to complete his “dream home” project.  Therefore, we needed to install new stucco to the addition and tie it seamlessly into the original home. The homeowner was very particular about the color that he wanted.  In order to match the specific color, we needed to use an acrylic stucco finish.  We applied this finish using a “freestyle” trowel texture.  The final result was an unbelievable renewal, providing the homeowner with a beautiful stucco finish to his dream home.                    ...

Kingfield Neighborhood Stucco Project

This home in the Kingfield neighborhood of Southwest Minneapolis was in need of some fairly substantial stucco repairs before the stucco could be refinished.  The home had been previously painted, and we first needed to sandblast the existing stucco.   There were two areas on the front porch beneath the windows that needed some extensive stucco repair.  In fact, when the bulging stucco was removed, the block behind it was so decayed that we needed to first repair the foundation before we could patch the stucco.  Once the foundation was ready, we patched the stucco in those areas, in addition to several other areas on the home. While the  stucco repairs were drying and curing, the homeowners had their trim painted.  Once the painting was complete, we returned to apply a two-coat stucco finish to the entire home.  The homeowners chose the stucco color “bamboo,” and we applied a knock-down dash texture.  This stucco project completed by Foley Exteriors resulted in a complete transformation from a dilapidated house with peeling paint and crumbling stucco into a beautifully updated exterior that truly shines in this great Minneapolis neighborhood.                    ...

Southwest Minneapolis Stucco Project

This stucco home in Minneapolis had many areas of peeling paint, and also needed some repairs to the existing stucco.  We home first needed to be sandblasted, in order to remove all of the existing paint from the stucco.  The homeowner recently had insulation blown into the walls, so we needed to patch the stucco where the insulation contractor had drilled their holes.  We also needed to repair a few previous patches in the stucco in order to prepare the home for a new stucco finish. We applied a fine pebble dash texture to the home, using the color Old Ivory.  The new stucco applied by Foley Exteriors looks great, and will last for many decades.  Because of how fantastic this project looks, two other neighbors decided to use Foley Exteriors for their stucco projects,...

St. Anthony Parkway Stucco Project

This owners of this home in Northeast Minneapolis were adding a room above the attached garage on the rear of the house.  We first needed to install new stucco to this second-story addition, and to tie the new stucco into the existing stucco.  The homeowners decided to refinish the stucco on the entire home at the same time as their other remodeling. The original stucco had been painted, so we needed to first sandblast the home to remove the paint.  There were a few repairs necessary to the existing stucco to prepare for the new stucco finish.  After we applied the base coats to the addition, and the other repairs to the existing stucco were completed,  we were able to apply the finish coats.  We used the color “Bone” on the home, applying a knock-down dash texture.  The home looks beautiful and refreshed, and the new stucco combined with the classic details of this two-story stucco home make it stand out on this great Northeast Minneapolis parkway.    ...

Northeast Minneapolis Stucco Refinishing

This stucco home in the Windom Park neighorhood of Northeast Minneapolis needed some stucco repairs, and the homeowner also wanted to refinish the stucco on the entire home.  The necessary repairs were mostly along the foundation, and we were able to blend the patches into the existing stucco in order to minimize the appearance of the repairs when the finish coats were applied.  We refinished the stucco on the home using a white color, and applied a knock-down dash texture.  This cute home in Northeast Minneapolis now has a clean, fresh look because of the brand new stucco finish.  Because of the refinished stucco, this is now the best looking home on the block!...
